Background - Of Mexican and Polish descent, he was born and raised in South Milwaukee. His mother worked in a doctor’s office and his father was a police officer. He has two siblings. Randy briefly attended college but did not receive a degree. He currently lives in Caledonia. He has one child.
Occupation - After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he obtained the rank of sergeant and earned the Army Achievement medal. After the Army, Randy worked with homeless veterans, was an appliance deliveryman, and eventually becoming an iron worker.
Politics and community involvement - He founded the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce after his experiences in the job market as a veteran. Randy has been an active member of the Executive Board of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council since 2012, a trustee on the South East Wisconsin Building and Construction Trades Board since 2008 and served on the Executive Board of Iron Workers Local 8 from 2007-13. He was active in organizing resistance to Act 10. He ran for state legislative office in 2012 and 2014.
