Protect the Clean Power Plan!
The Trump administration's proposed replacement for Obama's Clean Power Plan eliminates its goal of drastically cutting carbon emissions by 2030. By the EPA's own analysis, this proposed plan will release at least 12 times as much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere as compared to the Clean Power Plan. It will result in 1,400 more deaths per year and and an increased risk of respiratory disease, with the greatest impact felt by marginalized and low-income communities.

If this proposal passes, the responsibility to commit to reducing carbon emissions is passed to the states - this form will also send a message to your elected officials asking them to commit to protecting our future, regardless of the EPA's decision.
