Convicted felon and former alderman G John Ruffolo pled guilty to criminally stalking a woman for four years during the time he was serving on Kenosha City's Council. As part of his sentence, he cannot serve in Kenosha government. Yet Kenosha's good ol' boys continue to try to honor him with awards and by inviting him to ceremonies and putting him front and center in photo opportunities. This man terrorized a woman for four years and has tarnished both his reputation and the reputation of those who are standing with him in spite of his felony conviction. Kenosha's leadership should represent all is citizens and by raising up this felony abuser, they are saying the experience of his victim is less important than maintaining the good ol' boy atmosphere that has characterized Kenosha government.
