We are on the cusp of doing something big on November 6th, Election Day. It's shaping up to be one of the closest elections in years with many seats, up and down the ballot, decided by only a few votes.
If people turn out to vote in droves and vote all the way down the ballot, we can put progressives in local, state, and national office all over the country. To do that, we don't just need to vote—we need to make sure our friends and neighbors vote as well.
Here's how to prepare for Tuesday, November 6th:
1. Know your polling place and make a plan. You can learn more about when and where to vote in your area here: https://www.rockthevote.org/voting-information/find-your-polling-place/?polling-location
2. Need help getting to your polling place? Contact ForwardKenosha@gmail.com or 262-960-6608. Outside of Kenosha, use this app: https://www.buzzfeed.com/pollup2018/welcome-to-pollup2018
3. Volunteer to get people out to vote, and help your local progressive candidate(s) win! Learn how at The Last Weekend volunteer site.
4. Finally, if you feel like you are being prevented from voting, or you just have general questions about voting, you can call this non-partisan hotline, (866)-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683)
